About Me

Holding my newborn son for the first time wasn’t what I had expected. Instead of pure joy, I was overwhelmed with exhaustion, discomfort, and a body that felt foreign to me. Despite staying active throughout my pregnancy, a difficult C-section left me bedridden and unable to do even the simplest things, like holding my baby without pain. I felt trapped in a body that no longer felt like my own.

For six months, I waited, giving myself time to heal. But I was frustrated. I wanted to feel like myself again. When my son turned six months old, I decided it was time to take a step—both physically and emotionally. Going back to the gym for the first time was daunting. I was insecure, unsure if I could ever regain the strength I once had. But I knew I had to try, not just for myself but for my son.

With the help of a personal trainer and a lot of self-compassion, I started to rebuild my strength. Slowly, I began to feel more like myself. The gym became a place where I could focus on me, away from the demands of motherhood. And as my body healed, so did my spirit. I started to enjoy movement again, relishing small victories like lifting a weight I couldn’t the week before or holding my son without pain.
